After a 20 year gap of life on the level I’m back on the vertical. At the age of 16 climbing was an excuse to get out of going to church and repent my sins (like what sins did I have in Rossendale at 16!), and being out in the outdoors.
Climbing for me then was trips to the Lakes
Indoor climbing
Bouldering: Not something I used to do a lot of but there was Bride Stones quite near me when I was back up the north west. There is something to be said regarding the the increased freedom of movement that you get from not having a harness between your pelvis and rib cage.
Current indoor location for climbing The Reach at Woolwich South London.
Full current update on my climbing can be found on the UK Climbing website.
