Time to leave Cusco. Got my ticket and just killing time until 9 bus leaving at 10. Samana santa and road blocks in Bolivia, I´ve certainly picked the worse time to travel. All good fun.

I´ve never been rafting before, but have been curious what it would be like. Lucy had been talking about it and we finally signed up for it. The day after the motorbike tour. The river had grade 3 and a bit of grade 4. I really didn´t know what to expect, but it wasn´t as [...]

As always the locals were selling handy crafts, but they were very expensive in relative terms. A local boy was singing for us apparently in lots [...]

El Misti is the Volcano that overlooks the town of Arequipa, it´s 5800 and some meters. I had my reservation to do it with a local agency. I went for my briefing but there was a problem. The other people in the group had pulled out and there was only me ie there was no [...]

After getting back from the Colca Canyon we went down to the bus station to get my jacket. It was there. Back from its trip to Lima. Even my hat was in the pocket. The only thing is they stapled a label onto it. So now my waterproof jacket is going to leak!
